Next On is an initiative dedicated to supporting emerging artists, offering them the chance to step into the spotlight at some of New Zealand and Australia’s most iconic venues.
Taking over The Tuning Fork is MOHI, an award-winning Māori neo-soul artist from Henderson, West Auckland. His music seamlessly blends te reo Māori, traditional storytelling, and contemporary soul, creating a sound that is both grounded and forward-thinking. His debut album The Flowers That Grow From Concrete Pavements has already made a powerful impact.
Sharing the stage are soulful R&B wāhine Hope, alongside ringa toi Māori artist Greatsouth (Te Rarawa, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa), adding depth and diversity to an already compelling lineup.
This gallery captures moments from a night where emerging voices were given the space to be heard, felt, and seen.
