Red Raven News got wind of an exciting launch party, last Friday night at Paraoa Brewing. It was the launch of The Black Flames, an incredible 11-piece soul band. Nick Sampson from Netherworld Dancing Toys, and writer of their hit song For Today on guitar. Fabulous young vocalist Moana Richardson joined front man Aaron Gascoigne from The Blues Brothers Review and ColdShock.
The Black Flames are completed by Steven Shaw, Tim Robinson, Michael Larsen, Ed Geddes, Cam McLean, Gary Neill, Annette Hart and last but not least, Simon Berry.
It was a night full of amazing soul food!
