We are passionate about all forms of art and culture. From music to theatre and dance. Cinema and exhibitions. To portray it in pictures and in writing. How this interacts with the big and small issues that make up the interesting times we perpetually experience.
To burn rather than to fade. To let the light and life force shine.  [/td_block_text_with_title]

Leonie Moreland - Photographer

In 2008, Leonie emigrated to New Zealand from the Netherlands, thinking it was a Dutch colony. Soon found out it wasn’t, but after ten years she discovered a passion for photography. She started with her mobile phone and took to street photography. Here and in Europe. This progressed to purchasing real cameras and learning to perfect her craft. Then a fellow photographer introduced her to the world of music concerts and gigs, and the passion became a mission. Shooting concerts led to theatre, circus, dance and drag show extravaganzas. She has a penchant for black and white photography and has won five awards from Black & White Magazine in a short space of time. One of these awards was for a concert featuring Theia, at the Whammy Bar, a venue in central Auckland. This was Leonie’s first music gig. She has quickly built a reputation as a quality photographer.

Ratilal Ranchhod (aka Rev Orange Peel - Writer

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of knowledge and taste. As a medical doctor I have taken many forms, from primary to secondary and tertiary care. And a medium for the Bardo. Cradle to grave, police and prisons to elderly care. I have seen the madness of my area, and now I am here to report on it. Music is my passion and obsession since childhood. I saw Chuck Berry at Western Springs aged eleven. A rite of passage. A fan of all forms of creative art and expression. Aiming to be a reporter from the front line. Creative writing is the lie which reveals the truth. And of course its all perfectly useless.
