NOAH KAHAN – THE GREAT DIVIDE WORLD TOUR
NEW ZEALAND
DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND DURING PRESALE, SECOND SHOW ADDED FOR AUCKLAND
HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM THE GREAT DIVIDE OUT APRIL 24TH
Friday 9 October — Spark Arena, Auckland
Saturday 10 October — Spark Arena, Auckland — NEW SHOW
The new show is Saturday 10 October at Spark Arena.
The newly announced international run comes on the heels of overwhelming demand for the North American leg of The Great Divide World Tour, where well over one million tickets have been sold ahead of this summer’s stadium run, with additional dates added upon on sale due to incredible fan demand. The North American leg includes four record-breaking performances at Boston’s Fenway Park—making the beloved New Englander the first artist ever to play and sell out four nights at the iconic venue.
Ahead of his stadium run this summer, Kahan will release his highly anticipated fourth studio album, The Great Divide, out April 24th on Mercury Records, poised to be one of the year’s biggest album releases, with Billboard declaring it an early 2027 GRAMMY® Album of the Year contender. The album kicked off with the release of its title track, “The Great Divide,” marking Kahan’s highest-charting single debut globally. Upon release, it peaked at #3 on the Spotify Global Chart and made career-high debuts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. This success builds on the global impact of “Stick Season,” which became the UK’s #1 top selling single of 2024 and saw Kahan achieve a rare UK “double-double” with a #1 album and #1 single simultaneously. Not to mention, “Stick Season” peaked at #1 in the UK for 7 consecutive weeks, in Australia and Ireland for 14 non-consecutive weeks, and in the Netherlands for 7 non-consecutive weeks, while the Stick Season album peaked at #1 in the UK, in Ireland for 11 non-consecutive weeks, and in the Netherlands for 2 non-consecutive weeks.
Kahan has just released his long-awaited Netflix documentary Noah Kahan: Out of Body. Directed by Nick Sweeney (Santa Camp, AKA Jane Roe), the film premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, where it received the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award and has already drawn critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone declaring, “The 94-minute documentary follows Kahan closely as he becomes a stadium-level superstar, and it doesn’t flinch from showing the challenges that went along with his astonishing rise,” Billboard noting, “Kahan is beloved for his lyrically vulnerable indie folk music, and now the artist is on the verge of sharing even more of himself with the world,” and Variety calling it “a beautiful and revealing documentary.” The film follows Kahan at a pivotal crossroads as the breakout success of Stick Season propels him into global stardom, capturing a transformative year of sold-out tours and mounting expectations as he returns to his Vermont roots to confront personal struggles and search for a sense of home and creative clarity. ABOUT NOAH KAHAN:
Two-time GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum Vermont singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has risen from his New England roots to become a globally resonant voice of his generation. Across his career, Kahan has amassed nearly 15 billion global streams, sold nearly 12 million global albums, earned 22 Platinum and Gold certifications, and sold over 2 million tickets worldwide. In addition to receiving two GRAMMY® nominations, he’s been recognized by the BRIT Awards, Billboard Music Awards, iHeart Radio Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, Americana Honors & Awards, and more.
Kahan’s critically acclaimed breakthrough 2022 album Stick Season became a cultural phenomenon. Over the span of two years, the 4x Platinum album and its 8x Platinum title track reached number one across North America, the UK, and Europe, becoming the fourth best-selling album of 2024 and remaining in the Top 15 more than three years after its release. In 2023 following the release of Stick Season, Kahan launched his mental health non-profit, The Busyhead Project, which has raised over $6.6 million to date in support of its mission to increase awareness around the importance of mental health.
Now, Kahan enters his next artistic era with The Great Divide, his fourth studio album, due April 24th via Mercury Records. Written in the wake of his rapid rise to global fame, the album finds Kahan at his most honest, reflective, and emotionally resonant—grappling with success, identity, family, distance, and the unspoken truths that separate people from one another. Produced by acclaimed producer and Stick Season collaborator Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, Koe Wetzel) alongside GRAMMY®-winning producer Aaron Dessner (Taylor Swift, Bon Iver), The Great Divide builds on Kahan’s signature storytelling while pushing his sound into more expansive, anthemic, and sonically adventurous territory. In support of the new album, Kahan will kick off his biggest tour to date, The Great Divide World Tour, headlining sold-out stadiums across North America this summer and arenas across the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand this autumn. At the heart of Noah Kahan’s music remains the same guiding purpose that first drew fans in: honest storytelling, shared vulnerability, and songs that help listeners feel understood.
