AUCKLAND, NZ (Wednesday, March 11 , 2026) – Kiwi music legends SPLIT ENZ featuring Tim Finn, Eddie Rayner, Neil Finn, and Noel Crombie recently confirmed their Forever Enz Tour with two shows in Wellington and two in Auckland this May.
The first Wellington show at TSB Arena on May 6 and first Auckland show at Spark Arena on May 9 have sold out.
Now, due to overwhelming demand for tickets Live Nation is thrilled to confirm a second and final show at Spark Arena in Auckland on Sunday, May 10.
Presale tickets to the newly announced Auckland show are available from Thursday, March 12 with general tickets on sale Friday March 13 at 12.00pm.
Performing their first show in 18 years, playing their 1,000th gig as a band in front of 45,000 ecstatic fans at the Electric Avenue Festival on February 27 Split Enz delivered an historic show that wowed the intergenerational crowd present;
‘..The moment that will stay with me will be Neil and Tim Finn singing ‘Message to My Girl,’ their voices soaring across Hagley Park, uniting all those kids with all those adults, melting every single heart that was there. Put it all in a sack and bury it in a time capsule, because this was one for the history books.’ – The Boiler Room
‘It was a headline act that was so historic….all the theatricality and Split Enz silliness was still there.’ – The Spin Off
‘Timeless glory – Split Enz still soar ‘– The Press
Tim Finn said: “Aotearoa, rugged individual!” We’re looking forward to climbing into our new Noel Crombie suits and seeing you all soon. The songs are sounding shiny and new…”if music be the food of love, Split Enz are the silverware!
Formed in New Zealand in 1972 before relocating to Australia in 1975, Split Enz is widely regarded as one of the most important antipodean groups of the last 5 decades. The band’s last live concert in New Zealand was on March 2008 at Vector Arena (now called Spark Arena) . Split Enz were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005.
During their recording career Split Enz released a string of era-defining hits across the late ’70s and early ’80s including I Got You, I See Red, Message To My Girl, Six Months In A Leaky Boat, History Never Repeats, One Step Ahead, and so many more. Their Number 1, 1980 album release, “True Colours”, achieved multiple-platinum staus in NZ and was certified 5 x platinum in Australia, selling over 250,000 copies.
This year marks the 51st Year Anniversary of the Split Enz’s debut album Mental Notes. That album, along with the band’s entire catalogue is part of the Enzyclopedia re-release series – the first of which was released in November 2025 via Chrysalis Records globally and Warner Music locally in Australia and NZ.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to witness Split Enz live – with live line up featuring Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner and Noel Crombie plus Matt Eccles on drums and James Milne on bass.
