Heavy Velvet – The 13th Floor, 3rd October 2025: Photo Gallery

On a charged Friday night at The 13th Floor, Heavy Velvet tore through the silence with a set that was anything but subtle. This Heavy Punk Alt Rock quartet brought raw energy, grit, and unapologetic volume to the stage, and I had the privilege of capturing it through my lens.

Front and center was Erika, a powerhouse vocalist whose voice could shake rafters and soothe chaos in equal measure. Flanked by Hirsh Cohen on guitar, Katie Koebrich on bass, and Arthur Brewer on drums, the band delivered a sonic storm that pulsed with rebellion and rhythm. Each member carved out their own space in the soundscape—Hirsh’s guitar snarled and soared, Katie’s bass lines grounded the fury, and Arthur’s drumming drove it all forward with relentless precision.

These photos aim to bottle the electricity of that night—the sweat, the distortion, the moments between the noise. Heavy Velvet doesn’t just play music; they ignite it.
